To get new ration You need to follow the below steps carefully
- First of all Go to the website of the food department of Uttarakhand.
- O the home page you shoul search for the option that says “Download“. Also Click on it. Or you can click on this link to go to the download page .
- On the download page you will able to see many forms for ration card services. Click on the option “Application form for new ration card“. You can download the form as a PDF file.
- Also You have to take the print the form and write your details on it. You need to write your name, address, family members, income, and so on. You also need to attach some papers that show your address, rent, old ration card, and so on. The form will tell you what papers you need.
- Take the form and the papers to the office near your area of the required department of food and civil. If you live in a city you need to go to the District Supply Office (DSO). If you live in a village you need go to the Block Development Office (BDO). You can find their phone numbers and addresses on the website.
- The office will give you a receipt when you give them your form and papers. They will check your details and come to your home to see if they are true.
- If everything is okay, they will make your new ration card and send it to the shop where you buy food at low prices. You can get your new ration card from the office by showing your receipt.
